Blood status: Half Blood (although Hugo's family, apart from mother, are unaware if he is half blood or pure blood).

Place of birth/residence: Ambleside Village, Lake District

BACKGROUND

Family background and description: The Bludge family are a steady wizardin family that continue to do well in the magical world although don't always get much attention as they are never at the forefront of any drama. All the family, apart from Hugo's mother have been in Ravenclaw. He has a rather extensive family, although in comparison to other wizarding families it isn't that large. The family contains: Grandmother, three uncles, two aunties, six cousins (four boys and two girls). Three cousins haven't yet attended Hogwarts although they are believed to enter the house of Ravenclaw like their parents.
Personal history (what happened to your character until his current age, at least a paragraph about this, also this section requires to be constantly updated): Hugo was, like his Mother, a late developer in magic and at first thought his family questioned that he might be a squib until when he was seven years old when his older cousin Percy took him for a ride on his broomstick. Hugo fell off his broomstick from fifty feet yet landed without a single scratch. From them his family began to recognise that Hugo must have some magical ability. Since then he has been excited about learning every kind of magic that he can and hopes to be in Ravenclaw, despite his Mother being a Hufflepuff.
None of his family (apart from his Mother) are aware who his father is. His father is a muggle who his Mother fell in love with but didn't want to give up her magic to spend a life with her and as soon as she found out she was pregnant she left him and never looked back as she now had a loving son. However due to her brothers and sisters all being grown up nobody ever found out her fortnight true love.Hugo has never been fussed about who his father is.

CHARACTER DESCRIPTION

Physical Appearance: He has pale skin and light blonde hair that's of medium length. He has a few freckles and light blue eyes. Hugo isn't that tall although mature looking for his age, despite having slight puppy face cheeks.
Personality (lovestrengths, weaknesses, traits, flaws, interests, what does he or she ? hate? write a bit about each): Hugo is willing to academically succed and do well in the future after Hogwarts. He is eager to learn and will do anything in order to acieve and shine to teachers in order for them to realise that he is more than a 'pretty blonde boy'. Although sometimes he can be a little shy and timid and not willing to mingle due to his lacking social skills most likely due to living in a village full of muggles and muggle tourists his Mother suggested he doesn't talk to them. He is easy to flee although when needs be he is eager to use his brains to step up in times of fear. He is very interested in transfiguration, especially from a young age when he first saw his older cousin Rose-anne transfigure a cup into a teapot, he also likes to collect chocolate frog wizard cards and enjoys the feeling a fizze whizzbee gives you. One thing he does hate is the fact that he can't mingle and socialise very well. He really dislikes that other children seem to get on and as a child secretly wished he was a muggle at times so he could play with other children in the village, although now he has entered the magical world he hasn't ever looked back.

Additional information (anything else you want to add about your character): I intend to develop Hugo's ability to make friends as he goes through Hogwarts and hope for him to find a very close friend that understands and doesn't want to rush Hugo into conversation when they first meet.

A damp blue auror hung over the Hogwarts castle. Hugo was quick to enter the greenhouses away from the marshy grass that he had just waded through in order to reach his next lesson. However for some reason nobody seemed to be in Greenhouse one today. Thinking that he might be late Hugo dumped his belongs on the bench where he usually sat and decided to explore the more dangerous part of the greenhouse where magical plants studied at OWL level were housed. Withdrawing his wand from his wand he turned the handle to the door whilst his heart raced in excitement. If he could have an advantage at knowing what was to be expected in years to come then he may recieve top of the class in Herbology. The thought thrilled Hugo so much that he hadn't realised a long vine beginning to slither along the soiled floor infront of him.
